Heater or plumbing
When the fault isthe heater.
Before you call, these signs tell you whether the fault sits in the heater itself or out in the pipework.
01
Cold at every tap
If the hot water goes at all the bathrooms and the kitchen together, one thing feeds them all and that is the central heater. One cold bathroom with the rest still hot is a mixer or a branch, not the cylinder.
02
The breaker keeps tripping
A breaker that drops every time the heater switches on is not a house wiring fault. The element sheath has failed and is letting current into the water, so the answer is a new element, not pushing the switch back up.
03
It runs out early
The cylinder gives less hot water than it used to before it turns cold. Scale settles out of Kuwaiti water and builds on the tank floor, taking up volume inside it, so the usable draw is smaller than the tank was built for.
04
Water under the heater
Water on the floor under a heater is either a pipe joint or the body of the cylinder itself. A joint is remade. A weep from the tank body means the steel has gone through and the heater is replaced, not repaired.
Inside this field
The heater work,one by one.
Four services under water heaters, each with its own page.
The method
From the call tohot water.
The same order on any heater, whether the job turns out to be a repair, a flush or a new fit.
You describe it on the call
Tell us whether the heater is stone cold or just weak, when it changed, and whether the breaker drops. Those three answers decide between an element, a thermostat and a flush.
We isolate power and water
The heater breaker goes off and the cold feed valve is closed before anything is opened. No cover comes off a live element and no thermostat is touched while the cylinder is under pressure.
We test before we swap
We read the element and thermostat terminals and look at the state of the tank inside, then tell you exactly what has failed before any part is changed.
We refill, vent and test
The cylinder is filled and the air bled off at the highest hot tap before the power goes back on, then we run a hot tap in front of you and watch it hold its temperature.

Background
A central heaterin a Kuwaiti home.
A central heater is an insulated metal cylinder holding an electric element and a thermostat. It heats a body of water, keeps it hot and feeds every bathroom and the kitchen from one outlet. That makes it a different animal from the small heater hung above a single bathroom, and the difference decides what we look at first when the hot water goes.
Most houses in Kuwait switch the heater breaker off through the summer, because the roof tank arrives hot from the sun without any help. The breaker goes back up in the first cold week, and that is when the faults that slept through the summer show themselves: an element that had already failed, a thermostat that has drifted, a joint that has started to weep.
Kuwaiti water is desalinated and carries salts that drop out of it when it is heated. They gather on the element itself as an insulating layer, so the element has to run hotter to push the same heat into the water and its life shortens. Whatever falls off settles on the tank floor and eats into the hot water you actually get.
There is one part nobody thinks about: the protection rod inside the tank. Its job is to corrode in place of the tank wall, and once it is used up the steel itself starts to rust from the inside. That is the difference between a cylinder that lasts and one that goes through early, and it is the first thing we look at when a tank is opened for a flush.
The whole field splits three ways: repair when it stops, servicing and flushing so it does not stop, and a new installation when the tank has gone through or the same faults keep coming back on a corroded cylinder. We tell you which one you are in after looking at it, not before.

Why us
Why call us.
01
One number for all of it
Unclogging, plumbing, heaters and leak detection from one place, not four different numbers.
02
Every area in Kuwait
We work across all six governorates, and we are based in Al-Qurain, Mubarak Al-Kabeer.
03
We pinpoint the exact spot
Acoustic leak detection and tank leak detection pinpoint the leak, so any breaking is at one spot.
04
Contracts, not only emergencies
Maintenance contracts for buildings and complexes, and sewer network servicing, not only call outs.
Common questions
Asked aboutwater heaters.
A central heater is one cylinder feeding the whole house from a single point. A small heater hangs above one bathroom and serves only that room. The central one suits a house with several bathrooms, and it needs space around it so it can be serviced.
Because sediment has collected on the tank floor and taken up the space the water used to fill, so the usable hot draw is smaller. Flushing gives that volume back. If the cylinder is simply small for how the house is used, we will say so plainly.
Most houses here switch the heater breaker off in summer, because the roof tank arrives hot from the sun on its own. That does the heater no harm. Watch it on the first cold day you switch it back on, because faults show up on that first run.
If every bathroom is hot and only the kitchen is cold, the heater is fine and the problem is the branch feeding the kitchen or the mixer on that tap. That is plumbing work rather than heater work, and your description on the call usually settles it.
When the leak is from the body of the cylinder rather than a joint, or when the same faults keep returning on a tank that is corroded inside. Elements and thermostats are parts you replace. A tank wall is not patched, and we say so before any work starts.
