It is the clean water
If water is dripping, spraying or arriving weak, the problem is in the supply line coming into the house. That is plumbing work. Unclogging is for water coming back up out of a drain.

The bill climbed on its own
The meter turns with every tap shut, which means a hidden run is losing water under the tiles or inside a wall. That case starts with locating the leak, before anything is opened up.

Something will not shut or open
A mixer that keeps dripping after you close it, a main valve that will not turn, or a cistern that fills and empties by itself. These are worn parts, and replacing beats repairing them again and again.

Pressure is low everywhere
One weak tap is usually its own aerator. Weak everywhere points at the pump, the tank, a valve left half closed, or scale narrowing old pipework across the whole house.

The first move is closing the nearest isolating valve, or the main one if there is none, so the work happens on an empty line instead of a live one.

Most cases are a cartridge, a washer or a float, and those are replaced on their own. We open it and look before deciding whether the part or the whole fixture is the job.
We turn it back on
The water goes back on, the fixture runs under pressure, and we wipe every joint with a dry hand to be sure nothing is weeping.

The wider picture
Why the water sideis its own job.
Plumbing in Kuwait is shaped by the water itself. Desalinated supply travels long runs and sits in tanks that stand in full sun, and summer heat accelerates corrosion at joints while it hardens rubber seals until they split earlier than they otherwise would.
Most Kuwaiti homes run off a roof or ground tank with a pump, not off mains pressure directly. So weak pressure has three possible homes: the tank, the pump, or the line between them. Each one shows itself differently, and each is checked differently.
With fixtures, the fault is rarely the fixture. A mixer drips from a small cartridge inside it, a toilet leaks at the seal between cistern and pan, and a shower cabin lets water out through tired silicone rather than through the glass. Replacing a whole unit before checking the small part is wasted work.
There is a real line between plumbing and unclogging, and people mix them up. Plumbing works on water arriving under pressure. Unclogging works on water leaving by gravity. The first needs valves, isolation and tight joints. The second needs correct fall and access points. That is why the call starts with one question: is the water coming up, or going down?

In Kuwait the two names cover nearly the same ground. A plumber leans toward pipework and runs, a sanitary technician toward fixtures and their connections. In practice it is one call, and your description tells us which side the job sits on.
Both. A flat has its own internal run and a shared line for the block, and work on the shared side needs the caretaker or the building management. Say which it is on the call so we arrive ready.
If water is actively running out, close the nearest isolating valve if you know it, otherwise the main one. For a drip or weak pressure there is no need. We will isolate it when we get there.
Small parts such as cartridges, washers and floats we carry. For a whole fixture, a particular mixer or a toilet in a colour and shape you have chosen, it is better that you buy it and we install it.
